The beginning of the year came with a jump start of women making healthy decisions. I have had a record number of emails from around the world. Many women are looking for fitness guidelines to turn their years of mistakes and bad decisions into a positive obtainable goal. I have had women from Asia, Africa and all over Europe all asking the same questions "WHERE DO I START?"
What a wise question, as we don't want to jump into a situation that could discourage us ...again. Nor do we want to begin at a starting point where we are concerned about injuries. So where do we start? Well there a so many things to take into consideration.

Think also about your fitness and weight goals.
If I would have to guess, I would say 65% of the hundreds of emails I received the past few months have all contained the same word, menopausal. This is becoming a huge concern among women, and it should be a concern. I hear so many times about energy level, hot flashes and weight gain.
Studies have been done and exercise is a great way to help in all these areas. I have clients that I work with that don't want to workout, they are too tired to work out. Yet, they show up and workout with me. As a result they find (within weeks) that they are feeling better, have more energy and are sleeping better. As a result they become hooked on exercise.
